Voting Rights for Mixers Postponed
Can Opener, leader of the Appliance Assembly, announced that the group will postpone any action on an initiative that would allow mixers to vote.
"We felt that a change at this moment might encourage disharmony," stated Can Opener. "We will reconsider in time for the 2006 elections."
Blender, spokesperson for the mixers, pointed out, "Can Opener, like many of the other elected gadgets, won by a very slim margin. This margin might not be sustainable with so many new votes thrown in to the mix."
Currently all AA seats are held by gadgets. Tomorrow, the Assembly is expected to take up legislation regarding workplace discrimination against mixers.
